Dear Con

I have just finished watching Everything is Copy, the HBO doc on Nora Ephron. It got me thinking about how I only like to write short sentences. I don’t know how to structure long ones. But also, how much I’d love to write a screen play one day.

If I do, can you remind me to include the lines

“kiss me like you’ve just come back from war”

and!

“maybe our greatest teacher is ourself”

I’m kinda glad I’m writing this to you not telling you over the phone. This way I don’t have to hear you try to be supportive but really just challenge me on their corniness.
